I had to catch my breath
I had no idea I'd find you there
My eyes widened
I forced my teeth together
so the mass of people
wouldn't see my surprise
across the throng of people
between you and I
the world kept turning
as I lost my hearing
and people began to slow
You were looking at me
A line of bodies
patiently waiting for their turn
began to look
at what caught your attention
so i pulled my sunglasses down
and went for the nearest exit
The landing overlooked the city
quietly bustling
I stood alone once more
It's what I'm used to
then the door opened
letting the sounds of life out
foot steps ended beside me
another lonely heart perhaps
a voice I've been dying to hear
asked me my name
so with a quick glimpse
I turned to run away
I bounced across the concrete
passing huge buildings
all metal and glass and grey
But the sun was bright
The sky was blaring blue
We began our chase
sweeping my arms
I crossed into the viewfinder
two consecutive clicks
captured us in motion
you wouldn't stop now
with me just out of reach
Your legs are longer than mine
so after a few blocks
you had caught up enough
to jump through the air
to catch me off guard
and we fell to the floor
your face between my breasts
and my arms scuffed
I shuddered a silent laugh
you hopped to your feet
and reached down a hand
I was lifted back up
You wouldn't let me go
I was dragged willingly
back to your hot rod
you opened the passenger door
I crawled inside
swallowing the moment of silence
your door was slammed
I smelled the excitement
your eyes smoldered into mine
so I smiled then laughed
then nodded a few times
and called out "Let's go!"
The engine started
and we were off
driving towards the sunset
with the radio fuming
a song I knew too well
I sang out louder than loud
Maybe you wanted to grill me
I had no reason to withhold
the truth about you and me
I answered every question
sending you grinning
sending us reeling
When we pulled into the garage
We were more than ready
you told me to wait
for you to let me out
I took your hand
I was lifted back up
After the door was locked
There was a quiet
begging to be disturbed
you took my coat
I put my arms around myself
inspecting my wounds
We wandered to the kitchen
you poured me a drink
I gulped it down
wiped my aprehension away
I looked at your feet
And asked you your name
Your hands clapped on my back
pushing me out of the room
up the stairs, down the hallway
you leaned on me
pressing me forward
into the sleeping chambers
The sweet smokey smell of addiction
poured from your mouth
I decided I wanted to touch you
second hand
I took it from you
to whet your lips
I bounded around momentarily
until I fell to the bed
beckoning you near me
you came in close
pressing me down
you fell on me again
We stared into one another
until we couldn't take another moment
our heads gravitated magnetically
until your pink was touching mine
I melted into a pile of mush
under your weight
my selfish desire
took advantage of this situation
with your hand on mine
I directed you to the place
I wanted your to feel
Where I wanted to be felt
With every blink of an eye
an item of clothing escaped
within moments we were laid bare
I felt something growing
everything I wanted
pressing against me
The image of pink hearts
teamed with the sounds of pleasure
floated throughout the house
I didn't have to plead
What I needed
was what you needed
hours passed us by
we were enraptured
every moment, every touch
made our eyes roll back
between each moan
we came back to life
I felt you about to explode
I knew I was almost gone
my lip between your teeth
your hand glued to the spot
your rocked me into light on white
we busted together
Then I opened my eyes
and saw the city before me
quietly bustling
I was alone once more
I heard the sounds of life
filtering into my peace
foot steps ended beside me
the ratchet of flame clicked
The sweet smokey smell of addiction
infected my senses
and a voice I've been dying to hear
asked me my name
