Fine and Studio Arts - Life 101 lecture
Fine and Studio Art are works produced in specific space. Often for the purpose of being shown in a Gallery. This includes sculpture, painting, photography, printing, drawing, and 3D Media. Meaning runs deep. Most of the time the artist creates their own vision but it is up to the viewer to make their own meaning. This kind of art is about capturing a thought, a feeling, a scene. The artistic process is strong and vibrant in studio art. Fine art is more focused on documenting physical reality. The best way to experience art is by looking at it. The best way to find inspiration for your own art is to walk through an art gallery. So for your viewing pleasure, I have found some links to works. I will don my Art Historian hat and learn you all a little bit about Fine Art.

Well thats just a sampling. As you can see, not all of the items of illustration are defined. Each work is open enough for interpretation. The more vague a piece of art work is, the less obvious the meaning is. Who knows what you see in a Jackson Pollock, who you imagine are the lovers in a Rococo, or who you know who could be a Giger monster underneath their skin. Fine Art is driven by form, shape and color. It is inspired by human life. It often documents the human experience on an individualistic level. It is a direct representation of what the artist thinks, feels, or has the ability to put down. It celebrates all the facets of life, including freedom, agony, politics, confusion, fear, desire, passion, pain, and love. The real message of any work of art is decided by the viewer, like the meaning of a dream. So, what do you see?
All my artist Homies, represent. Its time for a renaissance.
